Free Afternoon CD Launch Event - Lyndhurst Community Centre - 3pm, Saturday 20th May 2017
You are warmly invited to a launch event for our new Italian-themed CD titled "O Sole Mio" featuring the Voices of the Forest choir, acclaimed tenor Simon Long and the classical group the Courtyard Quintet. This will be held at the Lyndhurst Community Centre at 3pm on Saturday 20th May. The choir will be singing a selection of the songs from the CD at this informal event. Refreshments will be served in the form of a delicious cream tea and this promises to be a fun and entertaining event.
Lyndhurst Community Centre is located in the main car park in the centre of Lyndhurst.
This event is free and includes a free cream tea!
Come and Sing - Free Workshop in Lymington - Saturday 18th March 2017 10am to 12noon
We are hosting a free workshop for anyone to come along and have a go at singing with the choir. This informal fun event will be a chance to meet the choir, hear us sing and have a go yourself! If you've ever been tempted to join a community choir, this could be your chance to dip your toe in the water!
No need to book, just turn up. Entrance is free.

We present a Sensational Charity Concert - a celebration of Italian folksongs and melodies from around the world, featuring celebrated choir Voices of the Forest with leader Fabian Lochner - fresh from stunning performances in Christchurch Priory and Bath Abbey - and acclaimed local wind ensemble - the Courtyard Quintet.

Celebrate the season with Voices or the Forest conducted by Phil Daish-Handy also featuring the talented children of Fernhill Strings.
Voices of the Forest have developed a following for performing uplifting, entertaining and unique arrangements of a kaleidoscope of musical genres.You'll hear some wonderful African songs, some traditional songs from the UK, a Beatles song, a Karl Jenkins medley and an American movie classic plus more. The Fernhill Strings will entertain us with a variety of pieces to demonstrate their skills.
Come and enjoy a special early evening concert.
